Out on the line

It's Wednesday!
One of my favorite days of the week!

I get to visit all of my favorite blogs who participte in White Wednesday with Faded Charm.
Kathleen always has the most amazing posts...
but on Wednesday...
It is always breathtaking!

For the last few days...
the weather has been nothing short of miserable.
Dreary and bleak, cold and windy.

But today, The skys are clear ...

It's warm enough that I can be out without my coat, hat and gloves...

and I wanted to share with favorite past time.

Watching the sheets dry out on the line!

Yep, similar to watching paint dry (I believe that is strictly a union position)

In the Spring, Summer and Early Fall...If I have 5 minutes...
And there are linens on the line...Here is where you will find me!
Well...for 5 to 10 minutes anyway!

I like watching them snap in the breeze...
Fold over on top of one another.

And then come back to there original positions. on really breezy days... I also chase down clothespins and pick up laundry...but not often!

As far as I am concerned Nothing beats getting into a bed made with sheets fresh from the line!

You can literally smell the Sunshine!

I hope your day is filled with Sunshine...

...and flowers!

Okay...Well soon to be flowers!

Have a blessed day!

Psstt...If you haven't already signed up for my give-away...time is running out!

Friday is the big day where one someone will be getting the tote filled with goodies sent to them!

Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Donna -
Thanks for your sweet comment on my the pictures and you are right...there's nothing like sheets filled with the scent of fresh air from a glorious sunshiny day!

I hope all is well with you my dear friend...many blessings sent your way!

  8. I love this post! When I was a kid, my Mom would hang all our clothes on the clothes line in the Summer. I used to watch the towels and linens blow in the breeze while sitting in my favorite tree. I've always wanted one at my own home, but don't really have a good area.

Also, sign me up for your great giveaway.

    Take care,
