Expecting

Hello my friends!

We've known for awhile now, but I thought I would share our blessed news!
We are expecting...Our First Grandchild that is!

Our Daughter, April and her sweet husband Russell are expecting their first child sometime in late January or early February!
As you can imagine...
We are all very excited here on Church Street!

Like this hydrangea from my garden... we are both pink and blue in our thoughts and prayers... but on the 27th of this month...
We will know if its a boy...

Or a girl!

For now  our thoughts and prayers are that all is well with our newest family member and Miss April too!
I am going tomorrow to look at fabric for April's nursery. She is starting to make some plans for it.
Isn't that a fun way to start the weekend?
Hope you have some fun plans too!

  9. My husband and I have seventeen grand children and they are so much fun ! You will just love this new role in life. I enjoy your blog so much. I have a very small seventeenth century shed in my yard that is as old, or older, than my 1727 antique home here in Massachusetts. Your dear little greenhouse is a treasure.
