As the morning progressed...it grew steadily worse!
I don't know about you...but in these parts
That means playing hooky!
You know...do stuff you wouldn't be doing ...
If the weather had not changed!
So instead of wading through the snow to the cottage...I decided to cook in my new kitchen!
I couldn't think of anything better to do...can you?
So I gathered my goods and an old recipe. !
Blueberry Orange Coffee Cake.
The first thing I have cooked in my newly completed kitchen!
While the snow was falling and the cake was baking...I took pictures of my tulips!
Then, while it was still hot from the oven...
I had a piece of this amazing coffee cake!
And thought I would share it with you!
From me to you my dear friends! Enjoy!
Yum, indeed!!! I'm trying to behave after pigging out on our trip. But I'll make an exception for your yummy blueberry orange coffee cake ;) And your new kitchen is fabulous, Donna!!

Donna, I meant to say how much I loved the white pitcher with the tulips. Seeing them next to those new faucets, perfect !! Yum coffee cake, one of my favorite things. Yours looks wonderful. I know you felt great baking in the new kitchen. You and your husband can be so proud. You are both hard workers and it shows.xoxo,Susie

Well I have to say YOUR handling this endless cold and snow better than ME! Your photos are lovely and that cake looks scrumptious! Although I DID see a few brave Robins so hopefully Spring is around the corner.
