Just Breathe

I spent the day running errands...

Picking up drycleaning...
Shipping to the Resort in Las Vegas.
Last minute details before we leave in a few days.

One week from today
Our "Little Miss" will be marrying her Prince Charming and it seems like there are dozens of small details that still need attending to.

While waiting for a traffic light to turn from red to green...I paused.

I find myself in need of the very advise I gave my daughter this morning.

Just breathe!

Take a moment to enjoy this moment in time.
For me,
I want to watch my paperwhites spring forth from the bulbs ...
Walk around my garden in the snow...
Drink Hot Cocoa under a blanket on the front porch while the snowflakes fall from the sky!

This weekend, I will be doing just that.

Breathing ...slowing my pace a bit and reclaiming the joy ...

That once again I've lost sight of!
Just what this mom needs right now!

Doesn't that sound like a great way to spend a Saturday?

I hope you have wonderful weekend too!

  4. It sounds like a wonderful way to spend a Saturday and I have always loved seeing every step of growth from the bulbs to flowering. I have never tried sipping hot cocoa under a blanket on a cold porch watching snow fall but if we ever get a good one here in TN this year, I am going to try it. And after a day spent doing end of year paperwork for our business I surely need to remember to breathe! Thank you.

I'm sorry we didn't get to visit when you were in Texas, but I'd say you had your hands---and heart---full with very important doings!
I know her day will be special.
