Monday is a fresh start...
An opportunity to begin again what you may have left incomplete at the end of last week.
My sweet hubby will be out of town this week and even though I already miss him...
I have several little projects I am going to get done...while he is away!
Projects that need to be wrapped up...
Completed!
I have made a promise to myself:
This is a big step for me.
I am always starting something else while doing this or that...
It's exhausting!
So on this Monday...
I am giving myself a chance to catch up and begin again.
I hope you give yourself a fresh start today as well!
I know I will only be able to stay on track with His help and your thoughts prayers!
Happy Monday!

I will not start any new projects

to completion.
Or, as far as I can without his help.

There's nothing quite like a fresh start is there?
ReplyDeleteI love beginnings and that's what gets me into trouble - I love starting new projects. I do finish a lot, but I start even more so it's a mounting pile!
Your blog is beautiful and I am happy to have come over from Z's blog - simply lovely!
Good advice. I have many myself....
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday girl!

The last time I had the house to myself, my Honey didn't have to ask what I had done when he got back from his trip. There was fresh paint in new colours in three rooms. I already have plans for his next biz trip.
ReplyDeleteHi Donna,
ReplyDeleteOh I know all too well the starting and stopping of things.I am really getting bad about that. I have but a wee bit to do to finish up a project I started this Friday. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Smiles,Susie
Oh yes...fresh starts..did that yesterday..cleaned in places I have never thought to clean (scary but good) Love this vignette...have a great week! x0
ReplyDeleteHave a great Monday....good post
ReplyDeletePattie
Love new beginnings, makes anything seem possible doesn't it? Good luck in getting it all done.
ReplyDeleteDonna I have no doubts that you will finish at least some of your items. As for beginning new projects...well that is what keeps us going! Enjoy your week and also take time to relax and recharge. Sunshine Summer Smiles...
ReplyDeleteP.S. Love this vignette of summertime.
I do the same thing...so I tell myself to focus and see through what I have started. Then at the end of the day I am more content because I feel accomplished.
ReplyDeleteYou'll get it done!
xo~

Punching in on His time clock does seem to make everything go smoother doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI need to do the same thing...those 90% finished projects are starting to drive me crazy...make that crazier.
Hugs
Deb
I hope you get all your projects done this week.
ReplyDeleteThe ONLY reason I like Mondays is they offer a fresh start and a bit of energy to finish the projects from the previous week.
I have so many unfinished projects and it gets overwhelming at times.
Love your 'Summer Time' vignette!
I know how you feel...I miss hubby when he is gone, but I get so much more done when he is not here.
ReplyDeleteIn Jan. I decided not work on too many projects at one time. I am not doing so well with it, but I am still trying.
Can't wait to see what you finish up,
Melissa
i certainly know, from first hand, about unfinished projects! i am o.k with it though as i know i will eventually get back to it in good time. i am visiting you from Z's give away and happily following you now....nice to meet you.

That's a good promise to make to yourself. I can totally relate. But, you know... when you finally finish something up, it does feel good, it's so easy to get sidetracked.
ReplyDeleteThe photo you posted is just delicious, so so pretty, i couldn't stop looking at it. I love your grey wall color, and sconces. And the watermelon looks like a still life painting.
