I know you were thinking I would do another post on the Christmas Open House...and I will
but this evening...I wanted you to see what I have been working on since Tuesday...
Tinker house!
I finally got to paint the outside so that the entire folly is one color...peely, chippy white in some but mostly white!
I took this picture on Tuesday...before I did a little distressing
Yesterday I took this one...
And today...
Well okay...
This evening, I took these!
Tomorrow evening....
I will show you all that I got finished and what will be done by Monday!
But the weather....well it has been fabulous! Cold in the mornings and 70 by noon!
I just couldn't resist!
As you know
I love Autumn
And even though I work in a field that requires me to get in a Christmas mood earlier than most...
I still prefer to spend my time out in the garden...
for as long as I can!
Hubby is still outside installing the last of the glass on the sides and I painted the interior today...
So tomorrow evening...
Before I get back into Holiday Season mode....
I will share the interior of Tinker House with you!
finally!
Until then...
Have a wonderful evening!
This is so amazing! It is beautiful, every bit of it.

Wow is that ever ravishing ...what beauty!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been collecting salvage old Doors and Windows for years to do a project such as this... so I had to drag The Man over to peek at your Post of this beautiful Tinker House you made! *smiles* For a "See Honey I'm not Mad, it CAN be beautifully done" moment! *LOL*
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your vision... it has further inspired me for my vision of how all these architectural pieces I've been amassing can be transformed into a Paradise built of Salvage!

The Tinker House gets more lovely every time I see it. I love the fresh coat of paint and the greenery. And that burlap garland is sweet! You may have mentioned it before, but what material did you use to cover the table, and where can I find something similar? I think it would be a great table cover for my jewelry display.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, and have a wonderful weekend!!!1
