I hope that everyone
is having a fantastic week!
Christmas Season
and recovering
from a wicked lil' cold (still)
I did want to share just a couple of photos I took of my little shelf that hangs in my cottage bathroom.
I loved this piece because it reminds of something old...it is lined in these great damask papers in my favorite color...Aqua!
This little 2-piece nativity was a gift from my Grandmother...Nana.
She is no longer with us, but I always think of her each year when I set this out.
The little antique white and aqua plate is such a great find from one of our treasure hunts.
This little paper cutout of the word "love" was done by a friend of mine many years ago.
I always get it out each year for the Christmas Season.
These little ceramic potted amaryillis and paper white are actually tree ornaments but I usually get them out at this time each year and leave them out until late Spring.
I know that this time of year is very busy for most of us so I will keep this post short.
I do want to remind you to visit Kathleen at Faded Charm for more Wonderful Whites.
I look so forward to visiting all the different blogs each week to see everyone's whites.
I love white and use it year round in my home and I have been thrilled to meet to many other's who love it as much as I do.
Have a wonderful and Blessed week!

Hi Donna, gosh time flies when you're knee deep in kids and Christmas decor. I hadn't even seen your photos of your gorgeous cottage. You have done just a beautiful job!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad your back home and getting into the swing of the season. Forgive me for being a bummy friend! LOL!! I fell in love with your black end table/ night stand with the mirror. So "frenchie"!

Hi Donna,
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat to see some of your holiday decor today. I think that shelf is gorgeous! I love the interior papers in it. The nativity is a wonderful keepsake to have from your grandmother.
I love white too and don't think I will ever tire of it.
Hugs,
June
Donna ~ everything is beautiful. I especially like the 2 figures of the nativity from your grandmother they are rather sweet.
ReplyDeleteWishes for a wonderful day tomorrow.
Take care ~ Rebecca
Hi Donna, what a lovely shelf not to mention all the decorative pieces. I do wonder what is hanging from the hook at the bottom of the photo?!
ReplyDeleteHope you get over that jolly cold, they tend to hang around sometimes don't they.

A beautiful White Wednesday to you, too. Your nativity set is a treasure--I love things with a special memory attached.
ReplyDeleteYour friend who did the cut-out is very talented.
Thanks for letting me "visit" your lovely cottage.
very lovely and tender! isn't it comforting to see a "part" of your nana when you look at the nativity?
