Slow but Steady

As you all know this past 6 to 8 weeks have been...
really busy,
a little stressful,
And alot overwhelming for me and my family.

Alot going on both professionally and personally.

I have been trying to get myself back "on track" so to speak.

Doing things that I really wanted to do.

I painted the cottage,

decorated for the Christmas Season...

and still...

Not quite myself.

So...I started a little store at Etsy

Hoping that it too would help me get thru this rough patch.

I must admit...It has in a really exciting way!

I had my very first sale!!!!

...plus 2 locally from the things on the site.

I don't know why working seems to help...but it does...so I keep it up!

I wanted to share one of the new items I just listed.

It's a stocking made from Burlap! ( one of my favorite materials!)

I hope to have some more items finished soon.

But I'm taking things slow...more steady than usual.

I really want the things I make for my Etsy store to be special...things that I would own or give as gifts myself.

I don't want to just "fill it"

This little store is so... different than ANY thing else I do.

It's not about  what's "in"

Or a" sure sell."

It's about finding myself...

About making things that are special to me in some way.

It's about sharing with you little wonderments and whimsies that make my heart sing!

I hope they do the same for you!

She is such an amazing lady! I am very Thankful that I can call her My friend.

Her blog keeps me smiling even when I'm feeling a little blue.

She has been blessed with a "gift with words" among many other things.

 It has kept me in touch with my Kids who live in Texas.
