Autumn's arrival

Okay... It finally hit me this morning as Otis and I were outside looking at the garden...

Autumn has arrived!

I don't know why I haven't been in the mood for Fall this year. It's really my favorite time of year!

Something about it being a cooler than average summer...

Spending so much time working on the flea market at Horton's and now in serious holiday mode...Has kept me from going out to look for my cabbages and pumpkins.

But...As you can see that's all changed! I left right after Otis' breakfast and bought some pumpkins and planted these gorgeous cabbage from Horton's in my cool french pots.

I think I will spend some time tomorrow getting the cottage interior ready for the season as well!

I hope that everyone enjoys this tiny glimpse into my garden.
