Another Snow Day and Blueberry Orange Coffee Cake

I awoke this morning to see that it had once again snowed here in Indiana!
As the morning progressed...it grew steadily worse!

I don't know about you...but in these parts
That means playing hooky!
You know...do stuff you wouldn't be doing ...
If the weather had not changed!

So instead of wading through  the snow to the cottage...I decided to cook in my new kitchen!
I couldn't think of anything better to do...can you?

So I gathered my goods and an old recipe. !

 A family favorite...
 Blueberry Orange Coffee Cake.

This is officially...

The first thing I have cooked in my newly completed kitchen!

So I wanted to make something that we love and I haven't made in a very long time.

While the snow was falling and the cake was baking...I took pictures of my tulips!

Then, while it was still hot from the oven...
I had a piece of this amazing coffee cake!

And thought I would share it with you!

From me to you my dear friends! Enjoy!

I know you felt great baking in the new kitchen. You and your husband can be so proud. You are both hard workers and it shows.xoxo,Susie
