Coming Home

Hello my friends!

As you might have guessed or gathered due to the lack of posts on the subject...

We have not been working on our home's renovation...
                                                                                   In quite sometime.

It has been a long year with all of our events and happenings and the house...
got put on hold.

Last night just after dinner in the cottage studio, Hubby announced that he would like to start working on it once again!

Yippee!

What does this mean?
He wants to finish the kitchen and then the library before warmer weather arrives...
Then, we will work on the exterior of our home! Finally!!!

As you might guess....I am very excited!
Of course, I will share this process with you!

You may remember,
We left off with the installation of our wood countertops in the kitchen.

So much still to do but I just wanted to share my news!
Have a wonderful rest of the day!
I am going back to sorting, but this time with renewed vigor!

  7. Donna you have had such a busy, busy year with all the family things you've had. I am so excited that you will be able to get your kitchen redo going again. I am IN LOVE with the wood counters...so lovely and so rich looking!

I bet it feels good to be home after so much time away from it. I have a hard time leaving home, as you know :) but I always miss it when I do go somewhere. My sister needs some of my time this spring and summer and I really want to help her, but it is so hard for me to be away any length of time. However this is important and I will also be able to spend some much needed mother-daughter time with my daughter who lives there too. You know all too well how that is. I imagine that you loved your time with April and made some wonderful memories.
Gosh, I am rambling, but it seems I have missed you so much my sweet friend.
Can't wait to see more of the kitchen :)
    much love...
