Hello My Friends!
I took a break from my current project and headed outside to clip a few blooms from my "Bridal Wreath " Spirea Bush!
It's one of my favorites and always makes me smile when it comes into bloom. It's fragrance fills the kitchen today and smells faintly of honey!
So simple but still a favorite.
This week I am finalizing my vendor list for the upcoming French Market and sending out the packets to the chosen few!
I am always glad when I have reached this plateau...it gives me a chance to catch my breathe...
Work out in the garden for a bit...
And search out these simple things that bring me joy...
Even something as easy as clipping a few branches from a bush has a way of bringing a smile to my face!
Do you have a "go to" thing you do to make you smile? I hope you have a chance to do just that today!
Well, I must get back to work...this afternoon I am working on some new slipcovers for the dining room chairs
Sew far sew good...(I couldn't resist the pun!)
Until next time...

ReplyDeleteIt's always the simple things that are the best. Sometimes even just a few minutes in the garden can rejuvenate me... I love yours in the little white pitcher...
my main "go to" for comfort is usually music... but a fresh gardenia, or honeysuckle are a close second...

Oh Donna, The Bridal Wreath Spirea is one of my favorites and I think I have at least five bushes now. Unfortunately, mine is just beginning to turn green, so it might be a little bit before i have any blooms. Your are so beautiful:-)
