Poured from my Pitchers

Since signing up to be a participant in White Wednesdays,
I've found myself really thinking about my white postings.
I have always been an avid collector of white things.
All white linens...
 bath towels...
 dinnerware, ect.,ect.

I even raised 4 children,(3 Boys) in a house with all white slipcovered furniture.(My friends thought I was nuts)

But in preparation of this little post...what do I  have to share with you?

I was getting a little worried...as I have shared before...I am still learning how to cut and paste (I had an incident when I first started on a computer that has left me trembling about this )

So...that only leaves one option...
What do I have that you might enjoy seeing?

Last night as I was setting the table for dinner, it hit me

For years my white pitchers have poured many beverages out to be shared with those that have gathered around our table.

They have been filled with flowers just picked from our garden...

.

Fed my flowers and plants during the long winter months...

Been used to rinse the heads of wee-ones and even our beloved dog Otis Blue  in the bath tub when the shower was still too scary.

So this morning before I went about my daily tasks, I gathered a few for you to see
.
There's really nothing special about any of them.
But to me they are each priceless.
Each one has poured out my love to everyone and everything in my life.

Each time I reach for one of  them,
These  memories fill my mind and remind me...It really is just that simple.

Give all that you have to others.

Let it pour out of us like it does from my simple white pitchers.

I hope you have a delightful Wednesday!

For more wonderments in white I invite you to visit Faded Charms divine blog, where Kathleen is sure to amaze you with her gorgeous collections.

bountiful blessings to everyone...donna

  1. Hi Donna,
What a nice collection of pitchers you have. I totally get what you're saying about a piece being priceless for the memories that it holds. I had a bowl that we had recieved as a wedding present, many, many years ago and my family and I used it for everything. It was just and ordinary bowl, but to us it was full of memories of family gatherings, family movie nights, oh so many. When my dear hubby broke it by accident I cried. At first I wasn't sure why. Then it dawn on me it had become priceless to me because of all the sweet memories attached to it. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful collection with us. Loved this post. Have a great Wednesday.

  7. Hi Donna! Happy Wednesday!! I just adore your white pitchers, they are a perfect thing to showcase for White Wednesday! I have just a few myself...I'm sure I'd have more except I am trying to show restraint lately, as the collections are starting to mount! Is it possible to have an addiction to collecting??!

I hope you are having a good week :)

  8. You win the prize today for the white wednesday that touched my heart. What you've done with your beautiful white pitcures is by far greater then the pitcure itself.

  11. Hi Donna,
Thank you for following my blog, Love Your Place. The support I am receiving on my new blog has really meant a lot to me. I am so grateful, humbled and inspired to carry on in this direction.

Your blog is so beautiful and inspiring! I like your white picture collection. I wonder if I have any? The pink flowers are so pretty too. I want to call them fluffy flowers! :) I am really enjoying reading all your posts. You're so creative and I am inspired by the things you are making for your home! I can't wait to see what you create with the French blue inspiration pieces you picked out too. And to reading your future posts!

  12. Hi Donna and thanks for following my blog. Your collection of pitchers is gorgeous. I have a similar one but have put it away for now. You may just inspire me to get it back out again - especially with the Christmas white and red coming up! And you obviously don't have to be worried about cutting and pasting anymore!
