Just completed!

My Tiny Blue study is nearly complete. we await the arrival of an old fashioned pull shade with a scalloped border. but that will complete this project in our ongoing home renovation. For the past 31/2 years, My husband, Bill, our dog Otis blue, and myself have been residing in a small cottage while we undergo the task of restoring our family home to a more functional space for ourselves and our 4 children when they come to visit. The upstairs is nearly complete, this small room was once our son Justin's room. It will now act as a small study and overflow guestroom. The custom built daybed converts to a full-size bed.

The bookcases are on casters and roll away to reveal a deep storage space behind the kneewall. The entire room has been covered in cottage planking and new french doors were installed to make it feel a bit larger than it actually is.

My husband, Bill built the daybed, bookcases and this little desk we tucked into this corner.

This little antique toy dresser was the jump off point for my color palette.This little room is now a favorite retreat of mine. I love curling up on my daybed with a good book.
